DAY 1 (Friday)
Welcome to Inverness
Start your fly fishing adventure by making your way to Inverness, either by train, plane or using your own transport. You will meet Craig (your guide) to collect your G.O.Y.A. Adventures 4×4 that will be your home & transport for the next few days.
Together we will head to a private loch nearby to go straight into an afternoon of fishing and fly-casting instruction (where needed). After sunset, it’s time for a BBQ, a wee dram, a fly-tying demonstration and fireside chats followed by some shut-eye to prepare for your epic weekend of hill loch fly fishing.
DAY 2 (Saturday)
Drive to the West Coast and more fishing
We wake up at sunrise for a cup of coffee and biscuits and walk down to the loch for a morning throw while breakfast is being prepared. After a hearty breakfast, we pack up the 4x4s and head to the hills on the West Coast where we will fish for the next few days.
By midday, we will have our lines in the water and fishing for those lovely hill loch brownies “the heilan broonies”.
Before dark, we will head to our camp where we will set up for the next few days. Followed by dinner, drinks and fireside chats.
DAY 3 (Sunday)
Fishing, fishing and more fishing
Another early morning wake-up for coffee and biscuits before heading to another scenic loch for a solid day’s fishing. After the morning session, we have a mid-morning loch-side brunch followed by more fishing and a light lunch in the afternoon.
In the evening we will head back to camp for well earned drink and a hearty fire-cooked meal, drinks and fireside chats followed by a solid night’s sleep.
